A wine brand for the musically minded, Headline Acts connects people together through music via partnerships and industry initiatives for bands and the fans that support them. Committed to supporting the emerging headliners of the future, Headline Accessis a platform created with the intention to bolster the careers of independent Australian and New Zealand artists and creatives.

Headline Acts launched its first instalment of Headline Access The Release Cycle in Australia during May last year, which offered one emerging artist the opportunity to gain invaluable mentorship from influential Australian music industry names, including Johann Ponniah (I OH YOU Records), Johnny Took (DMA’S), The Orchard, Sose Fuamoli  (music journalist) and more. In partnership with Muso, The Release Cycle saw winning artist YARA gain the support to record, mix, master and distribute an incoming single to the world (watch this space).

Keeping the grapes and good times rolling, Headline Acts today reveal the next iteration of Headline Access. Continuing to nurture the careers of independent artists and reward their supportive fans, with exclusive workshops for aspiring artists and Laneway Festival VIP experiences, Headline Access has all this and more up for grabs in February 2023 in New Zealand.

On January 31 from Auckland’s East St. Hall, Headline Access will host the emerging artists and industry-folk to learn from some of the best names in music in an intimate artist and industry-led workshop and talk. An international round-up of talent will lead the intimate session, including Baltimore punk outfit Turnstile and UK Grammy Awards-nominated rapper Slowthai and New Zealand group, The Beths. Enter the competition HERE.

Direct from Baltimore’s punk-hardcore scene, Turnstile will lead Auckland’s round of Headline Access, as they retell a decade of commanding moshpits across the globe with their progressive back catalogue and spirited punk ethos. Grammy-Awards-nominated rapper, Slowthai, will also offer an exclusive Q&A, absorbing attendees into his wired tongue-in-cheek world of politically aimed and hyper-energised rhymes. Joining the series of talks, is Auckland-based power-pop group The Beths, whose penchant for clever, fast loud songs has earned a loyal following and critical acclaim.

Attendees will not want to miss these talks from industry-led panellists from Laneway. With the Auckland event being hosted by MC SLAVE (Fat Freddy’s Drop / Logg Cabin) this event is sure to entertain as well as educate.

Offering four varieties in Rosé Bubbles, Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, and Shiraz, Headline Acts have crafted all their wines to be enjoyed with great tunes, from backyard hangs to big festivals. On every bottle you’ll find music inspired artwork, with a curated Spotify playlist  that was fiercely debated and finally agreed upon by musos, DJs, and vinyl junkies alike. As the official wine partner of three of Australia’s largest festivals, Laneway Festival, Bluesfest and Splendour in the Grass, Headline Acts pairs perfectly with live music.

As Headline Access continues in 2023, local musicians and lovers of music have another unmissable opportunity to gain invaluable experiences, thanks to Headline Acts, Laneway Festival ‘23.
