LA by-way-of New Zealand artist Kelsy Karter is excited to release her new single and music video for “Devil On My Shoulder,” out everywhere today via BMG. “Devil on my shoulder is about that cheeky little voice in your head that takes over sometimes,” Kelsy shared about the meaning behind the song. “For me, the way I’ve always dealt with anxiety or depression is by being mischievous and doing things that maybe I shouldn’t. I wanted to make the ultimate extreme, hyper rock&roll tune – that would match the characteristics of what goes on in my little devil’s head. Karter collaborated on the track with Zakk Cervini (Blink-182, Machine Gun Kelly, All Time Low) and Chris Greatti (YUNGBLUD, Blink-182) who co-produced the record, as well as co-wrote with Karter. Download/Stream “Devil On My Shoulder” everywhere HERE.

The visual, directed by Kelsy herself, takes a literal approach on the meaning of the track.“I had Crystal The Monkey (Night At The Museum, The Hangover 2) play the “devil on my shoulder” as we go on the run from the cops together after robbing a jewelry store.
